Samson “The Wolf”

Samson came into rescue along with his twin Big brother. At the time, his big brother was named Samson and he was named “Wolf” because he had a large wolf “Bott-fly” worm removed from his left temple at intake. Poor Wolfie suffered from repeat abscesses in the area that needed to be incised and drained and treated with antibiotics. He was a real trooper and accepted all the treatments with a positive attitude and little fuss. Making matters worse, both brothers suffered from a severe GI infection that caused horrific diarrhea and lethargy. Ultimately, the big brother succumbed to this illness leaving little Wolie without his sibling. In honor of his big brother, Wolfie officially took on his brother Samson’s name, so he could be a part of him forever.
